Henry Chan, 2017 CMA Sponsored BC Assayer Foundation Trainee Scholarship Recipient


On receiving his Scholarship Henry remarked, "First, I would like to thank the Assayers Foundation of BC and the Canadian Mineral Analysts for sponsoring scholarships for people involved with assaying. these scholarships truly help people reach their goals in becoming certified assayers. Thanks again!"

He continued, "After graduating from Thompson Rivers University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology in 2008, I joined the assay department at ALS Metallurgy (formerly G&T Metallurgical). Throughout my employment at ALS, I have learned various assaying methods and techniques such as wet chemical, fire assaying, and instrument operation. I am currently enrolled in the BCIT Assayer Training Program and will finish the final course before taking the certification test"
