Winnie Tam, 2017 CMA Sponsored BC Assayer Foundation Trainee Scholarship Recipient


Ms. Winnie Tam obtained her Master's Degree in analytical chemistry at the Baptist University, Hong Kong in 2002. Since then, she has gained considerable assaying experience in several analytical laboratories and completed the assayer training program at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). She was successful in passing the BC Certified Assayer theory examination on May 6th, 2017 and plans to take the BC Certified Assayer practical examination in the future. Ms. Tam is currently employed as an assayer at the Pretium Resources, Brucejack gold mine, BC, where she is responsible for LECO, AAS and fire assay methods of analysis.
